Audi has recalled the 2023 TT to fix a problem with the passenger airbag.

“The welding connection joining the airbag guide channel and the dash panel of the front passenger’s side, may not meet manufacturing specifications,” Audi says in its recall notice.

“As a result, the front passenger’s airbag may not deploy as intended.

“In the event of an accident, an airbag not deploying as intended could increase the risk of injury or death to vehicle occupants.”

  • A total of 31 vehicles are included in the recall
  • The original recall notice is attached here

Audi will contact owners of the affected vehicles and advise them to have a free fix arranged.
